We stay very busy in our library at SIS. Students rotate in centers, as well as, check out library books. Our library centers are as follows: Computer Center, Magazines/Beanbags Center, Lego Center, and Reading Booth Center. Students rotate between centers and tables with Legos each time they come to the library. Students also learn the organization of the library between fiction and non-fiction books. This helps students to search and find the books they want and need when they come to the library. We also focus on different types of genres, using technology safely, research skills, and reinforcing Language Arts skills taught in the classroom. Our Activity Rotation is on a 9 day rotation this year at SIS.
